Hi guys! Halloween is just around the corner and the extravaganza of October will be coming to an end soon! Despite the most wonderful time of the year flying by, if you’re similar to me in the sense that everyday is October in your mind, this outfit can work for you all year round! Whenever I received the dress via mail, I tried it on and immediately thought “this is kind of boring, how can I make this more me?” I began playing with different ideas and came to the conclusion that there are millions of ways you can style the Wednesday Addams dress but I wanted to show you how I personally styled it & a few other ways that may fit your personal style better..
All of Wednesday’s outfits from the Addams Family movies are simple and adorable looks that at are easy to recreate. You, yes you, can find dresses similar to Wednesday’s just about everywhere in store or online this time of year. I find that buying a dress similar to her versus buying a costume is a better investment. You can wear to it to dinner, drinks with friends, or even a funeral with no funny looks about the authenticity of it if you decide to buy a modern version of it.

Modesty was heavily more influenced in style during that time, especially with children. With this second outfit idea, try pairing the dress of your choice with black leggings and a pair of black boots. Give the original Wednesday style a go. I absolutely adore this look!
This is one of my favorite quotes from Wednesday Addams! During this scene her dress is long sleeved with lace details. I adore that the outfit inspo on the right added a hat, purse, cropped jacket, and adorable mary-jane pumps to modernize the look!
